After reading my introductory speech, this post will answer u'r curious minds. The big question is, my 6 sweet, little baby kittens I had last Spring. Okay....Since I gave birth to 6 of the critters & they get so much attention, Mommy Joy wanted to let them have their own blogspot.
On April 23, 2008, I gave birth to 6 kittens. Luckily, they came out as 3 males & 3 females. Here, they are.........
1. Oreo - (Black & white male calico)- He's my biggest kitten, whom most likely came from my time with Sylvester. That's where he got the black from, but he's mostly got white, which came from me. As for the size, he definitely doesn't inherit Sylvester's size. I have to wonder where Oreo's size came from. Since his thought to be Daddy, Sylvester's been nowhere to be found, DJay has become his adopted Father. I swear, when he popped out his little hairball, his mouth was on Mommy's jug, sucking away the milk. Everytime Mommy came back to check on them, she seen Oreo at the milk bottle & noticed him being bigger than the others. In fact, he was so big, Mommy wondered how big he would get. Anyhoo, he's Mommy's big baby always cuddling up.
2. Travis- (Grey male Tabby) When Mommy seen him, she almost cried her eyes out. She seen a grey kitten & swore it reminded her of a previous kitty named Travis whom had passed away a couple years ago, so she gave him the name, Travis. The only difference between Travis & the other guy is that he's more hyper. Of course, he's only a child. He stepped out a minute to stay at Mommy Joy's friend, Janet's, but that didn't work out & he came back home to Mommy Joy.
3. Sylvester Jr.- (Black male tuxedo) Since he came out looking like his Father & the cartoon character, Mommy had to name him Sylvester. The first thing that came out of Mommy Joy's mouth when she seen him was, "Okay Sylvester Sr., I was child support!!" Mommy Joy finds all my babies adorable, but fell in love with my little black baby boy. He was so small at 6 wks, that Mommy Joy was afraid he wasn't getting enough milk, so she decided to get baby formula & regular milk & feed him out of a bottle. They developed a bond during that time & eventually became attached. Mommy Joy doesn't play favorites, but u know how the bond thing goes. He's also gotten attached to Daddy DJay who loves giving him a bath. When he first seen Daddy DJay, he swore it was his Daddy, but even though he wasn't, Daddy DJay took it upon himself to raise him, Oreo, & my daughter, Talena.
4. Sassy- (orange tabby, black, & white female calico mix) I thought she would be the biggest out of all my females, but turned out she wasn't. I also thought she'd be more calm & quieter, but she's turned out to be the wild one. I guess I'm not the best kitty fortune teller. (LOL) Anyhoo, with the exception of the black spots & no grey tabby, she looks much like me. Then there's the fact she loves to play with Mommy & eat table scraps from her plate. She also went up to stay with Mommy Joy's friend, Little Baby Janet & she was too much for her, so she also left & came back home.
5. Talena- (black & white female calico) She's the smallest of the bunch, but she's known to have the most sweet & cutest little face. When Mommy Joy & her neighbor Steve's wife Lisa were on good terms, she named her Talena. Lisa wanted to take Talena along with my other daughter, Pumpkin Jr., into her home, but when Mommy Joy found out what kind of people Lisa & Steve were, she saw to it that they didn't go down there. Talena loves to eat scrambled eggs & play with stringy & little mouse toys, along with frolicking with her brothers & sisters. Sometimes she gets into stuff like her sisters, but also likes to lay around.
6. Pumpkin Jr.- (orange & grey tabby & white female calico mix. looks exactly like Mommy) Out of all the babies from this litter, not one could resemble me more than this little baby. It was no wonder Lisa helped Joy name her after me. Size was the only way people could tell us apart, but now that she's getting bigger, people have to look at the face. Mommy Joy is always lifting her little butt in the air & telling her, "U look like u'r Mommy. u little sweetheart." Why does Mommy keep doing that? Dunno. She went to stay with Little Baby Janet & thought she'd get to stay. In fact, she was gone for almost a month. Then all of a sudden, Little Baby Janet had to have her gall bladder taken out & have a bag attached to her. That meant she wouldn't be able to change my litter, feed me, & play with me like she once did before. Pumpkin Jr. sure hated to leave her & Mommy Joy's friend, Bah Bah wanted to take her, but the building they stay in only allow them to have one pet. She was sad to leave, but glad to see Mommy, Daddy, Uncle DJay, & her siblings again. I remember before when she was a wild one, but since she's been back, she's much more calm down. At least Mommy Joy can hold her like a baby now.
The next post on shall be turned over to the Little Rascals. U'll see me & the other big kitties on here, but this is the nursery. Mommy Joy calls all of us the Muppet Babies & says she's the Mommy who wears the striped socks. She loves them & all of us so dearly. What would she do without us?
Pictures of the babies will be posted whenever Mommy Joy gets them on here.
